The Spanish edition of The Paper Magician releases January 27th from Oz Editorial. I'm so thrilled to be able to reach a new audience and see my debut book in a new language! And while I don't speak Spanish (short of what I remember from eighth grade), I can definitely appreciate the updated cover for the book:
What do you think of the changes?
I love that hair style. Is there a reason it's a paper boat instead of a paper plane?
ReplyDeleteCulturally recognizable. American grow up folding planes in class, Mexicans grow up folding paper boats.
DeleteGotta Agree with @lex
DeletexD But that change in the cover was made in Spain, not in Mexico :P And mexicans (we) grow up folding both of them... Specially planes, we play with them in classes :) I was upset when I saw that change, but it doesn't matter, I've just end the book and I love it so much!!!! <3
DeleteThis is so beautiful.
