Updated Cover for EL MAGO DE PAPEL

The Spanish edition of The Paper Magician releases January 27th from Oz Editorial. I'm so thrilled to be able to reach a new audience and see my debut book in a new language! And while I don't speak Spanish (short of what I remember from eighth grade), I can definitely appreciate the updated cover for the book:

What do you think of the changes?

  1. I love that hair style. Is there a reason it's a paper boat instead of a paper plane?

    1. Culturally recognizable. American grow up folding planes in class, Mexicans grow up folding paper boats.

    2. xD But that change in the cover was made in Spain, not in Mexico :P And mexicans (we) grow up folding both of them... Specially planes, we play with them in classes :) I was upset when I saw that change, but it doesn't matter, I've just end the book and I love it so much!!!! <3
