ReplyDeleteI think a great help with historical fiction dialogue is just reading/watching a lot of material that takes place in the desired time period. I'll be writing my next story in the Edwardian period, but I'm going to have to do a lot of research in to Scottish dialects of the day...maybe I should find me some Scottish friends to check it for me. :)
